About the Product
YHH Rainbow Powder (樱禾彩虹粉) is a fine holographic chrome powder that lays a veil of rainbow light over the nail. Its laser micro-glitter shifts color as your hand moves: a soft, low-key shimmer indoors that turns into a full rainbow in sunlight.
YHH pairs it with a sheer base: a sheer color and a light pat of rainbow powder is “like dressing your nails in a veil of light.” Their swatch tips show it over three bases: clear, milky white and solid white. Clear gives a glassy, aurora-glazed look and white gives the brightest pearly rainbow. It also layers over cat eye gels for an extra holographic glow.
How to Apply
- Apply your base color (sheer, milky or white) and cure. Keep the surface smooth; an uneven surface makes the finish patchy.
- Apply a thin layer of no-wipe top coat and cure according to the product and lamp instructions.
- Pick up a little powder with a fingertip or sponge applicator and pat or rub it gently over the nail.
- Gently sponge away the loose powder.
- Seal with a layer of strengthening gel, floating a generous bead over the nail so the brush doesn't scratch the powder, and cure. Don't seal with base gel: acidic base gels can react with chrome powders and make them fade.
- Apply top coat and cure, then lightly buff the sides and free edge.
