About the Product
YHH Moonlight Silk Powder (樱禾月光丝绸粉) is an ultra-fine chrome powder that you rub onto a no-wipe top coat for a soft, silky mirror glow. Most shades lay a gentle aurora tint over the nail: pink, icy blue, peach, mint, lilac, yellow-green or copper-orange. YHH shows every shade over both a clear base and a sheer neutral base, so it works for glassy clear nails as well as everyday pinks.
Moonlight has no color shift and gives a satin, pearl-like sheen. Starlight is also shift-free but slightly grainier and more sparkly, which suits accents or mixing into color gel. Setting Sun has a damp, “mashed-potato” texture, so its jar looks less full than the others.
How to Apply
- Build and shape the nail so the surface is smooth; an uneven surface makes the mirror finish patchy.
- Apply a thin layer of no-wipe top coat and cure for 30–40 seconds, depending on your lamp.
- Dip a fingertip in alcohol, let it evaporate, and pick up powder while the finger is still slightly damp. Rub the powder on.
- Gently sponge away any extra powder.
- Seal with a layer of strengthening gel, floating a generous bead over the nail so the brush doesn't scratch the powder. Cure for 60 seconds. Don't seal with base gel: acidic base gels can react with metallic powders and make them fade or disappear.
- Apply top coat and cure for 60 seconds, then lightly buff the sides and free edge.
