About the Product
Nail & Yolly's Magician Series is a 15-piece brush system built around one idea: one shape per job, so you stop fighting your tools. Every brush shares the same mirror-chrome metal handle and a small enamel pear charm color-coded to its head shape — so you can grab the right one out of a crowded cup without reading the barrel.
Heads are hand-shaped from fine synthetic bristle in three characters: soft and dense for laying gel flat, fine and springy for lines, and willow or triangle profiles for one-stroke painting.
Choose your brush from the dropdown above — each one is sold individually, so you can build the kit around what you actually paint.

Builder & base brushes
Y0 — Large Oval Builder Brush
Round head, fine soft bristle, medium flex · 9mm long × 7.7mm wide × 2.4mm thick
The widest brush in the line. The broad rounded head hugs the cuticle line and shapes the back edge in a single stroke, and the extra thickness holds enough product to lay builder or base gel down firmly. Pulls potted color gel smooth with no brush streaks. This is the workhorse if you do full-coverage color fast.
Y02 — Round Brush
Round head, fine soft bristle, medium flex · 9mm long × 5.7mm wide
The Y0's narrower sibling. Same soft round head, sized for average and small nail beds. Follows the cuticle curve cleanly and moves potted gel, glitter, and flake toppers quickly.
Y03 — Oval (Square-Round) Brush
Squared-off oval head, fine soft bristle · 8.6mm long × 6.5mm wide
A good meet-in-the-middle shape — enough corner to define the sidewalls, enough round to sweep the cuticle line in one pass. Fine soft bristle keeps potted gel streak-free.
Y01 — Flat Brush
Flat head, square cut tip, fine soft bristle · 9mm long × 6mm wide
Straight-edged and precise. The square tip cuts a crisp outline, which makes it the pick for sharp edges, French lines drawn with the flat, and packing potted color gel, glitters, and glitter flakes into place.
Y11 — Dual-Ended Builder Brush (new)
Builder head: 13mm long × 6.6mm wide × 2.0mm thick · Liner head: 9mm
Two brushes in one barrel. An extra-long round builder head on one end for builder gel, extensions, and dual-form application; a fine springy liner on the other for line work — so you can build an apex and detail it without putting anything down. Unscrew the center connector and it separates into two full-length standalone brushes, or leave it joined as one double-ender.
Liners
Y06 — Short Liner
Medium-length fine bristle, medium flex · 7mm
The everyday liner. Short enough to stay controlled on curves — fine linework, bohemian patterns, blended edges, stone and marble veining, and cartoon detail.
Y05 — Long Liner
Long fine bristle, medium flex · 11mm
Holds enough gel to pull a long straight line without reloading. Made for striping, grid and plaid work, shell nails, and water-ripple effects.
Y12 — Extra-Long Liner
Extra-long fine bristle, medium flex · 18mm
The full-length striper. Springy enough to snap back straight, fine enough to keep the line thin — one stroke crosses even a long stiletto or coffin nail edge to edge.
Painting & detail brushes
Y07 — Detail Painting Brush
Short, full bristle body, medium flex · 6mm long × 0.7mm wide
Short and full where a liner is long and thin. Carries more pigment for filling small color blocks, drawing heavier lines, and painting scattered small florals and leaves.
Y08 — All-Purpose Brush
Soft, lightly springy willow-leaf bristle · 9mm long × 1.8mm wide
The one to reach for when you're improvising. The willow-leaf profile goes from a hairline on its tip to a full petal on its belly, which covers flowers, leaves, and blended washes with a single brush.
Y09 — Small Round Brush
Small round head, soft springy bristle · 6mm long × 2.2mm wide
A petal brush. The small rounded tip presses out daisy petals and other flower shapes with one tap, and drags clean short bars for plaid.
Y14 — Triangle Art Brush
Soft, lightly springy triangular bristle · 8mm long (5mm short side) × 3mm wide
Purpose-built for one-stroke painting. Because the head is triangular, every angle you turn it to lays down a different shape — butterfly wings, petals, and leaves each finish in a single stroke instead of being built up.
Blending & pattern brushes
Y04 — Angled Brush
Angled cut, soft bristle · 9mm long × 5.7mm wide
The angled edge does the work for you on anything that follows a curve or a diagonal: French tips, ombré fades, hill and mountain patterns, marbling, and swept floral strokes.
Y10 — Gradient Brush
Two-layer bristle — dense short under sparse long · 12mm long × 6.5mm wide
The double-layer head is the trick here: the dense short bristles hold and release pigment while the longer sparse bristles feather the edge, so gradients come out soft in a couple of passes. Good for ombré, blush nails, plaid lines, and general blending.
Y13 — Plaid Brush
Small rectangular head, fine soft bristle, medium flex · 12mm long × 2mm wide × 2mm thick
Square, dense, and evenly packed, so a bar of color lays down saturated and unbroken from one edge of the nail to the other. One stroke per line means plaid and geometric patterns stop being a patience exercise.
Care
Wipe out uncured gel with brush cleaner after use, reshape the head with your fingers, and store the brush lying flat or bristles-up. Don't soak the ferrule, and keep the heads out of direct UV/LED light — cured gel at the base of the bristles is what ends a brush.
Bristle dimensions are approximate; heads are shaped by hand and run within roughly ±0.5mm.
